ABSTRACT

Terson syndrome is a vitreous hemorrhage that occurs after intracranial hemorrhages (subarachnoid or subdural) and generally visual deficit or low vision is observed. In this paper, the case of a patient who had undergone pars plana vitrectomy due to Terson syndrome is presented. Visual acuity of the patient was 0.1 prior to the operation, but 1 month postoperatively, it reached 0.7. There was no complication during the surgery and at postoperative follow-up.
