ABSTRACT

Macular hole development following retinal detachment surgery is reported as a rare complication in the literature. Herein, we present the case of a macular hole that developed after a successful scleral buckling and intravitreal gas injection in a patient with macula-off retinal detachment, as well as its treatment.
