ABSTRACT
35 years old male patient, whose cornea of the left eye was stung by honeybee while riding a motorcycle came to our clinic with, tearing, redness, impaired vision, pain and foreing body sensation in the eye. During the ophthalmological examination, conjunctival hyperemia, corneal foreign body at 2-3 hours position with a surrounding dense stromal edema, ++ tyndal in anterior chamber was observed. After the complete removal of the sting, the patient received medical treatment and have been followed for 6 months. At the end of the 6th month, despite the complete removal of the foreign body (sting) without any corneal damage, still there was a nephelion on and around the stung site.
